The production of the new anime television series based on Battle Spirits was confirmed by Japanese broadcaster Nagoya TV in July 2011.[1] Produced by Sunrise under the direction of Akira Nishimori, script supervision by Atsuhiro Tomioka and music composition by Eishi Segawa, Battle Spirits: Heroes will begin its broadcast run on September 18, 2011 on Nagoya TV.[2]
